To help users that do not discover drag&drop saving, we changed the print button into a action menu. From here you can Print and Save.

Saving is now also possible via the file menu.

After the initial release, 2.0.1 code name Pants Up is waiting for you.

The release includes:

• Removes the delay before dragging a product begins

Previously it was necessary to click – wait – and than drag a product. That appeared unintuitive to lots of you, so we have removed that.

• Changed drag-selection behavior

You can now select multiple products by clicking in the empty room between them and drag up a selection and of course via the command or shift key while you click.

• Introduces a alternative animation

Even if you have a older macbook, we still love you. Thats why we have created an alternative animation for you. The kind of animation is chosen automatically but you can manually change that in the preferences.

• Each product now has a little indicator to show if an alarm is scheduled

You will see an silhouette of a bell in the top right corner of a product if one of the reminder options is set.

• Adding a document can be canceled now

In addition to “Attach Pages” and “Replace old one”, you can now also cancel the operation when you drag a PDF or image on top of an already existing one within the document view.

• When being in a category, the delete menu item transforms to “Remove from Category”

If you are in a custom category, pressing the command + delete key dose now only remove selected products from the category instead of deleting it. Deleting can be done via right clicking.

• Fixes a bug in the menu

The delete menu had the keyboard shortcut only after clicking a second time in the products area.

• Selecting the Cover image in the editor dose now show that

To delete the image, highlight it and press the delete key on your keyboard.

• Fixes a bug related to iCal

This could prevent updating events when you make changes to a product. Missing changes are automatically synchronized for you.

It’s been a long and exhausting development phase and finally it’s there.
Warranty Hero 2.0 now serves as foundation for future releases that will introduce really interesting possibilities.
This time it is not a free update and is available only on the Mac App Store.
The release includes:

• Completely re-crafted revolutionary user interface and interaction
• Introduces categories with specially crafted icons for you to use
• Introduces the ability to add custom fields to your products
• Added native integration for lot’s of currencies
• The receipt view is completely reinvented, you can add PDF files, attach additional files or images as pages and skim thru the pages.
• Double clicking on a product now triggers the editing mode.

I think this is a huge step forward and if you liked it’s predecessor, you will fall in love this one.
